Hi, After coming back from work,I drove about 15 miles
and my car started to surge, the temp. gauge peeked up and I stepped on the clutch and that seemed to help, and as I was pulling over to the shoulder of the hwy, the engine stalled out, but I have electric power.I was able to start the car almost right of way, but the same thing happened again going down the road.
To make a long story short.I replaced the thermostat the next day and put in little more tranny fluid.
Now the car starts after a couple of cranks and runs hot at idle after idling for 5 min. Most of my anti-freeze is sucked up including from the reserve tank.
I also noticed my fuel filter is not filling up with fuel.
I just replaced the fuel pump and hoses 2 months ago.
Can you help? Thanks
