i need to know what type(r-12, or r134a) of refrigerant comes in my 1996 nissan quest minivan.if you can email an answere to tnybyrum@yahoo.com i would REALLY REALLY apreciate it.

Hello –

You should be able to look on the car itself and it tell you if it is R12 or R134a. Also, the fittings on the R134a are much larger than the R12.

It looks like from the manual it takes both……
