My car was broken into this weekend and they broke my front passeger side window. I had a company come out and replace the window, shortly after I went and had a car wash and came back home. The next day the car would not start and crank wouldn't turn. The battery appeared to have enough power, I tried to jump start but it still did not turn. Could installing the window incorrectly cause some kind of short that would affect the engine from cranking?

Could installing the window incorrectly cause some kind of short that would affect the engine from cranking? Don't think so-its just a quick connector plug-in.

Try having the battery load tested could be aging and make sure its connections are clean/tight also check the ground between the battery and engine.

Possible areas-ignition switch/park&neutral switch/starter relay/starter itself.
