About 4 weeks ago, I was on my way home from work when the car just started to slow down as if it wasn't getting any gas and the break pedal became very hard to press in. I turned the engine off and tried to crank it again and it wouldn't turn over. A few days ago we got it to start and when it does start it runs fine. However, it doesn't crank all the time and now my headlights, and only the headlights, will not come on ( i replaced both bulbs). Does it sound like a wiring or electrical problem to anybody? This was a problem months ago and I took it into a garage and they replaced the starter with a brand new one. Any information on what this problem could be would be helpful.

Good place to start is the fusible links-connnections are tight and cleaned.
