Ok, I'm having major problems with my car. Monday morning I got up and started my car and it ran for like 3 seconds makings this horrible sound, kinda sounded like metal on metal maybe? and then it just shut off and hasn't started since. Everything else is running fine like it should be starting its just not. Its not the timing belt and I'm gettin a spark....does anyone else have any other ideas on what it could be?

If you getting spark and you are so sure the belt is okay didn't jumped then you're missing fuel-its part of the combustion process.

I don't like the sound of the metal to metal makes me think! valves. You can have spark and fuel at the same time but if the valve timing is off, you can try all day long it will never start BTDT>
