1992 Other Nissan Models Automatic 167000 miles

Hi guys, I have a Nissan Pulsar Q N14. It runs great but the hand break is not working, I looked at the leaver that you pull up to engage it and the cable is still attached. So I think the prblem is at the other end. Was wondering if you could tell me how to fix it as im a poor student and dont have a lot of money.

You'll need to remove the drums and inspect the brakes, it sounds like if the handle moves, a cable snapped, or fell out of a guide. Or the rear brakes are worn or misadjusted.
