just replaced alternator belt but need to tighten it. How do I pry the alternator

Loosen the pivot bolt on the bottom and adjusting bolt on top and pry the alternator housing away from the engine allow 1/4 in deflection on the middle span of the belt for tension

I have loosened both bolts but I am having difficulty moving the alternator. Any suggestions for a pry point

Hit it with WD-40 and set your pry bar between the alty and engine and give it a good push
