nissan maxima won't start

We just changed our transmission and our neutral safety switch the car turned over three times and then quit i was wondering if you could help

Double check from the igniton switch thru the inhibitor/NSS, starter relay and starter itself to include the battery/starter connnections.

we have checked all the wiring and connections we tried to jump start the starter and it turned over but won't keep going :?

Sounds like the overrunning clutch is failing.

Might work if you drop it and break it open and inspect the commutater and brush before you replace it.
