My car is over heating, and i just had the water pump replaced, and the radiator is brand new along with the radiator cap, it has also been flushed. The water in the reservoir is also boiling, i was told i need another thermostat, is that true, or could it be something else?

That sounds pretty viable. It could be your thermostat is stuck open so fluid doesn't have enough time to cool while in the radiator. You might also try switching to a lower temp thermostat. But that depends on how hot it is where you live, the OE temp of the thermostat, and if you replaced the radiator with an OE one or aftermarket.
