My dashboard lights will not come on. When I turn my headlights on my clock light goes dim. I had a problem that when I would open my door the alarm would go offg so I pulled both plugs on the anti theft unit. I dont know if that has any thing to do with the other, any help would be so very appreciated.

Do the tail lights work? Do you hear a click when selecting side lights on / off seperate to the light switch ?
If not I'd suspect the tail/side lights relay. If you do I'd still suspect the relay , tap it gently while lights turned on and see if the dash illumination powers up.
