95 nissan maxima rear brakes

I need new rear brakes on my 95 maxima GXE is there anything special that I need to know. I am having a family member do it for me. the repair shop wanted over 200.00 to change the rear brakes. Seams pretty high to me

There's a dust cover behind each backing plate remove it , you need 2 skinny screwdriver one to move the plate away from the starwheel and the other to retract and expand the shoes. Once retracted bang on the drum with a wood or rubber to break it open -if this fails theres 2 hole in front of the drum-get a 12mm bolt insert it and tighten it up, you will see the drum backing out and you're home sweet home.
