2001 Nissan Maxima Repair Question

2001 Nissan Maxima
I have a 2001 5 spd nissan maxima with 91,000 miles on it. When I attempt to turn left the right front assembly sounds as though I have metal on metal rubbing. As I take off slowly I also hear a grinding sound from the same right front tire. Can someone give me some advice prior to taking it to the dealer and getting violated in labor charges?

i would suggest removing the wheel that is the problem and checking the dust guard for the brakes it is on the back side of the rotor and on occasion it gets bent and will start rubbing on the rotor making a grinding noise.....good luck :)
