I've change the airflow meter, which was bad. but, my car at highway speeds won't shift into Overdrive. Rpm stays high. its going through gas. Overall the cars has always run well and have never had a transmission problem. Does the transmission has to be reset(recoded) like I did when i installed the new airflow meter?

Hi maprd

No transmission should not need a reset even if battery removed.
Was a plug knocked of the engine , say throttle position sensor where the throttle cable connects.
