What is a good estimate for the cost to have right side C V joint repaired for this car.

Autozone sells a rebuilt CV joint axle assembly for less than USD100 if want to do it yourself. Unfortunately, the right side is the one with the long shaft, and in circa 2000 Maxima there is a center bracket that is hard to get to without a lift. I expect it should be about 300-500 to get it replaced by a shop.
