1993 Nissan Maxima TRANNY HOLDS IN PARK NOTHING ELSE

TRANSMISSION WAS SHIFTING EXCELLENT, THEN OUT OF THE BLUE ONE MORNING I GOT IN IT AND IT WOULDNT DO ANYTHING. PARK WOULD HOLD, BUT IT DOESNT HAVE ANY CHANGE IN THE IDLE OR ANYTHING WHEN YOU MOVE SELECTOR BACK AND FORTH. I CHANGED TRANNY COMPUTER, DIDNT HELP. PULLED TOP PAN OFF OF TRANNY TO CHECK LINKAGE EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE IT IS WORKING EXCELLENT. FLUID IS CLEAN NO BURNT SMELL OR ANYTHING UNUSUAL. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS.

No, I dont have the ability to do this. However I wasnt sure if there is a particular sensor that could cause this transmission to do this. Does anyone know of a sensor or the name of a sensor on these transmissions that could cause this to happen. Any feedback here is much appreciated.

It is your VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor. It is located on top of your transmission.
