I have a 1993 Nissan Maxima. When I brought it i was told that my muffler and water punp was bad and i needed to replace it. I replaced the muffler and the muffler pipe. I was on my way to get the water punp fixed yesterday and while i was driving doing 65mph my cra just shut off. Musics was still playing but the car was off. i pulled over and saw it was smoke coming from under my hood. someone pulled over and looked at it. they said it was my water pump. they said the water was hitting the hot engine making it smoke. now not only do i have to change my water punp, but my car also won't start. any ideas or suggestions??
