When I'm driving and the car warms up to it's normal driving temp. the instrument cluster stops working, and the last few times this happened the truck started to lose power and began to lurch. This lasted for a few minutes. Then the gauges come back on and the truck ran fine. I finnally brought the truck to a dealership and they have no clue as to whats causing the problem. They say theres no connecction between the instrument clusterl going out and the truck hesitating. Yet when the gauges come back on ( you'll be lurching along) the truck starts to run fine again?? At my witts end.
thx for any suggestions
I have also called Nissan USA and they will be contacting the dealership to see why an authorized shop can't get my truck fixed!

Go to a better NISSAN dealer, the cluster does have a tie in to the PCM and Spped sensor, if it goes out you will have problems, but the only way you'll figure out if it needs a new cluster is to scan for codes! The dealer has two way communication test capability with the control mods, they will be able to figure it out. It sounds like the cluster is bad though.

A poor ground circuit with the gauges can cause such problems.
