My truck won't start and makes a rapid clicking noise. I have tried jumper cables and to no avail. The battery is probably 3 years old and is a bit corroded. Any suggestions?

Hi there,

I would be having the starter o/hauled as i feel that the main contact in the solenoid are worn out and not making proper contact to pass current to energize the starter.
