I have a '93 Nissan Altima with approximately 116,000 miles on it and a 2.4L 16 valve twin cam. It won't start. We thought it was the timing but it's not. We thought it was the distributor...it's not that either. It sounds like the motor is free spinning as if the timing chain is broke. If anyone could shed some light for me, that would be great!! Thanks!!

To confirm the timing chain-if its a distributor system remove the d/cap and look at the rotor whether its spinning while emgine being crank over.

DIS-remove the valve cover and check that the valve train are moving.
