I have a 99 Altima with 68,000 miles. Automatic transmission. The check engine light is on. I had it tested at AutoZone. It read P1400-- EGRC Solenoid Valve.
What is the function of the EGRC Solenoid Valve?
What am I looking to spend for replacement?
Is this part only available for the Nissan dealer? I have gone to several auto part stores, no one can order the part?

Thank you.

The primary function of the EGR solenoid valve is to provide vacuum to the EGR valve when activated by the main computer.
