My car is Nissan Altima-1994, it is 180,000 miles. two days ago it starts to give me two warning check battery and check breaks. The lights together some times light on and some time off, but yesterday they came off completely, but at the same time I started to hear a noise and the car doesn’t not accelerate fast as before. Today the noise increased and when I stopped the car and tried to turn it on after few seconds, it gave me ABS warning and did not start at all. I took a jump and it turned on after one second of jump but the ABS warning is still on and the noise still there. Do you think it is battery or Alternator. For the breaks it works fine.
