Rear door locks

Interior problem
2005 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 12000 miles

We just purchased an Altima sedan and the rear drivers side door lock wont open. The switch seems to activate since I can hear the ckick but the door wont open. This is the only door that this happens. Even if I manually move the lock lever it wont unlock.

Any ideas??

IF you hear the actuator like you say, then , you need to pull the panal off and get a look. Linkage may be disconnected or in need to lubing and working it.

Does the panel just pop off with panel clips??
