2002 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 102000 miles

My car needs the oxygen sensor replaced the one before the cata.conver. where is that located. I just want to know if it is accessable without having the put the car on a lift. Also what usually happens when you need the replace an oxygen sensor. How does the car run.I just want to make sure that is what is wrong with my car.

The wave pattern of the o2 sensor can be checked with a scanner. Typical problems are fuel milege loss, runnibility problems, cel codes. Should be able to get it from the top, it's on the manifold.

Thank You, I looked at the picture and was able to find the location easily. I will keep you posted on the repair job which I am not doing. But with your help it will be easier for my Dad. Thank You again so much.
