Smells problem
2002 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Automatic 200000 miles

I have a 2002 nissan altima. lately i have been having issues trying to get it started. this morning it took me almost 5 minutes to get it started and when it does a white smoke that smells like gas comes out the back. The only way i can get the car started is turn the key and keep pressing the gas petal fast over and over and until it cranks. i am thinking about getting a new car if this car will be too much to get fixed.. what may be wrong?

Your not going to know what the problem is until someone examines it. White smoke generally means coolant is being burned but it wouldn't smell like fuel. I would expect you may have a check engine light coming on so you should get the codes read also.
