=When trying to start, engine turns then starts clicking. If I move or tighten battery connections, then sometimes engine starts immediately. On occasion the alarm will start and the engine will not even try to start. I use to know how to disarm the alarm, but I have forgotten. Could it be my battery even though when changing the connection, the engine starts right up? May it also be the connection cables from other sources are loose?

Hi sandramc1,

Symptoms indicates the battery terminal connections are not clean or secure. Remove, clean and retighten and retest.

When battery intermitently loses contacts, the alarm would be armed. If you do not have the keyless remote, close all doors and use the key to lock/unlock the doors and check if the alarm is disarmed.
