Air Conditioning problem
2000 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Automatic 106000 miles

Sometimes my A/C won't work. The blower works fine, but about once a week, I'll start the car and I won't hear the A/C kick on, so the blower blows hot humid air. Whenever it works, the air is cold. I've had the freon checked, a tuneup, and a belt on the A/C changed (can't remember the name of it), but it still happens. Most of the time, after a while it will start to blow cold, but sometimes kick on and off. Whenever it kicks on at ignition, it usually works just fine. Whenever it does work, it squeaks a LOT. Sometimes, when it won't work, I'll drive for a few minutes, park and shut it off, come back to it an hour later, and it'll work fine. Sometimes it kicks off/on all day. Here's an interesting part--this problem usually happens after it rains. And, (this could be totally unrelated, but it did happen recently) last week I felt a drop of water come from around the area below and to the left of the steering wheel where the fuse box thing is. Could it be an electrical problem? I'm clueless, and I've already pumped $500 into this. I included a small donation with this, but I'm more than willing to donate more if you can figure this out! I'm at the end of my rope!
