Electrical problem
2000 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car started properly and after about 30 miles the security light started flashing and at about 40 miles the engine stalled.... even the hazard lights went out. After about 3-4 mins the hazard lights came on (but the security light stopped flashing) and the car restarted. I drove again and after about 30 miles it stalled again (no security light flashing), lost hazard lights again everything was back to normal in a few minutes.
When I lose the hazard lights ... I loose all electrical power and the odometer (tripmeter) also resets.

I left it at a garage for a couple of days and they could not find anything wrong and could not recreate the issue. The battery is new, the serpentine belt and water pump are new too... changed just a couple of days before the problem. I am able to drive locally 5-10 miles but don't know how to troubleshoot the problem.

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated

check all major electrical connections (battery/fuse box areas).. sounds like you are losing the main power feed to all electrical components
