1999 Nissan Altima acc. belt pulley

Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 188000 miles

Do I need to lift the engine to replace the pulley on the front of the engine - next to the right wheel? The bearing is shot. From the replacement pictures it looks like there are three bolts that mount it to the enine.

Nope. Raise vehicle, remove wheel. Remove the wheel well splash shield (the black plastic cover), you should see all the pulleys that you have.

Which pulley are you replacing? Alternator, A/C, idler, power steering, water pump?
