Engine problem
1998 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80xxx miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Recently I was replacing the spark plugs and found oil accumulated in the cylinder around the spark plug wire. I thought someone had just carelessly spilled oil in there during an oil change, so i cleaned it out. After checking it again today, i found it wet with oil again.

Any idea where this is coming from?

Check the valve cover-if not there as you said its misfiring-could be rings/valves-Do a dry and wet compression to determine where its coming from.
