1998 Nissan Altima CD player and cruise control not working

1998 Nissan Altima Automatic 217074 miles

I don't have a car manual, which could help me do the troubleshooting. The tape player and radio both work but the cd player stopped working. Also the cruise control won't work. Any idea what these things are connected to and why they stopped working and how to fix them?

Hi donitza,

Thank you for the donation.

For cruise control, we start with the basics first.
Check fuse block under left side of dash.
1. Fuse # 14 (15 A)
2. Fuse # 8 (10 A)
3. Fuse # 25 (10 A)

Check brake switch and pedal clearance.

The CD player is incorporated in the radio unit so it should be an internal fault.
