Driving tonight and out of the blue the service engine light started flickering and then the car started idling and running really rough like it was missing and the service engine light came on and stayed on. Checked under the hood when I got home and a spark plug wire had popped off. I put it back on and it runs fine, but the service engine light is still on. Is there another problem or is this from the spark plug popping off while it was running?

Your probably fine. The misfire may have thrown some codes that will keep the light on until the system doesn't detect it anymore. May take a few days. IF it is still on after a few days, get the codes and have them cleared and see how it goes from there. If it again returns then it needs to be diagnosed.

Thank you. I figured I was probably fine, but thought I would ask just in case there was something I was missing. Thanks again.
