Hi,
I have a problem with my Altima. At night when I am coming home from work and I am just about home(about a 15 or 20 minute drive) the car wants to stall and when I press on the brake my idiot lights will flicker as well as my head lights. Sometimes the car does stall just as I am pulling into the driveway.

I had the charging system checked at the autoparts store. It is OK including the battery. I just replaced my alternator about 6 months ago and that is new. I had them check the computer using the scanner and that was fine. What is next?

One more thing: This is also an intermittent problem. It will only do it once or twice a week.

Thanks,
Todd

Check your idle air control valve, and the EGR. Take them off and clean them with a carb spray approved for throttle bodies. Then use the spray on your vacuum hoses with the engine running, if the speed changes you have found a vacuum leak.
