Have oil leak from rear of engine passenger side replaced valve cover, and oil pan gasket. I believe it's timing cover gasket labor at dealer is 8 hours at 85.00 an hour.
Could this be the problem? and is it a seal or gasket ? and how hard is it to due? Some tell me you can replace it removing motor mount and lifting to engine and removing oil pan and valve cover .

If it is coming from the passenger side, it is most likely will be either camshaft seal(s) or the crankshaft seal. They are all parts of the timing cover gasket set.
