I HAVE A NOISY BELT I PURCHASED SOME BELT DRESSING SPRAYED IT ON THE GEN. BELT NOW THE NOISE IS LOUDER THEN BEFORE I DROVE THE CAR FOR ABOUT 1-MILE AFTER I SPRAYED DO U THINK IF I TOOK IT FOR A LONGER RUN THE NOISE MAY QUIET DOWN

There is a problem with the belt or an accessory that it is running. They squeek when too loose usually. Look closely at the belt for damage (cracking, glazing) if so then it needs to be replaced. Also look to see if any of the pulleys it runs on are crooked (not lined up straight), like a bearing has gone bad
