I have a 1990 nissan 300zx
I recently bought it. Lately I have notice when I take off the oil pressure drops down a bit. Could someone explain what could cause this problem?

That response measn either you are low on oil, it needs changing, the sending unit is bad or a worn oil pump.

The last you don't want to hear, an engine with some bad beariing causing a loss of oil pressure.

How many miles on the engine?

There is about 110,000 miles give or take a few. I thought it might need a oil change. What kind of bearings are they.

Connecting rod and cam bearing you will hear first. TRY the oil change with Castrol High mileage 10W30 (green bottle) and a Honda orig filter.
