1990 Nissan 300ZX 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 97000 miles

both break lights in the back work correctly. The center brake light doesnt work, as well as the light on dash illuniates LIGHTS. How do we fix it? Checked the bulbs seem fine

Get a test light and see if it has power and check the ground side of the plug. The power comes from the "Stop/Tail light sensor". The sensor is working due to the fact that the brake lights work, it has a seperate feed for the 3rd brake light (red/green wire at sensor)
