I ws going to work & my car cut off , it ran out of gas so I put two gallons of gas in it but it still wouldnt start , so by me trying so many times my battery needed a jump . when someone gave me a jump it started right up but 5min when i park it she wouldnt start . I notice that my battery gauge was low(below 12 volts) . I got another jump but this time it will studder like its ready to start but will not turn over. Before all of this occured she was runnig good. What could it be & how much would it coast ?

Thank You

Hi lerrali,

Get the battery tested/charged first.

Seems the weak battery is the cause of the problem. When you tried to crank the engine with a weak battery, it has caused flooding and this would not allow you to start.

Check the alternator charging rate checked as well.
