Lock torc converter

Transmission problem
1995 Nissan 200SX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 165000 miles

MY TORC CONVERTER INTERMIDDENTLY LOCKS IN. IS THERE A SENSOR THAT CONTROLS THE LOCK TORC CONVERTER?

It is the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid valve located in the valve body.

The code I'm getting from my actron OBDII P0500
speed sensor failing could this be the problem or is that another problem?

My apology. Your original request was TCC operations. That was what I gave you. P0500 will indeed give you the "jerkiness" or shudder in driving.
