Need a bit more information please.

Could you please tell me if this is a
Four door sedan?
Two door coupe?
Two door convertible?

And which country it is in?

The reason for this is that they used different base cars to build the Sebring and Stratus from. The four door sedans were built on Chrysler platforms. The two door coupes were based on the Mitsubishi Eclipse. Different engines and transmissions were used in the various versions.
Plus they used a couple different power train options for the European cars that were not offered in the US.

For instance, your question could be answered in three different ways because of those changes.

Thank you. That makes it a Sebring Limited. On that car the transmission range sensor is inside the transmission mounted to the top of the valve body.
You drain the transmission, remove the valve body cover, remove the valve body and remove the switch. Reverse the process to install the new one. Replace the transmission filter and fill with new fluid.

What it the issue you are having? No start in park?
