I'm having some trouble getting my ignition switch on my car. I took the steering wheel off but still couldn't get to the ignition switch. I'll send pictures if I have to show. Can I drill in the ignition switch to use a screwdriver to turn the car over?

This is what I need to remove. I took the steering wheel off but I need to take this off. Do I need a steering wheel puller in order to remove this?

Yes, you will need to use a puller to get that off. However, I am attaching the exploded view of the column to see if this helps figure out how this comes apart. I am sure you could drill out the ignition tumblers and use a screwdriver but clearly if you damage the actual switch then it will not work.

What was the original issue that you were dealing with? Did you confirm the switch needs to be replaced? If so, then we will do what is needed to help you get it replaced.

Thanks

I'm currently going to take out the old ignition switch since I lost my key to it and going to get a new ignition with a key.
