Need to know what engines are compatible

I bought a used truck thinking that there was minor work but found that there is water in the oil and the motoer will not start. I need to change out the motor due to blown head gasket and the motor is knocking. I am trying to find an exchange motor that will fit the other components

Where on earth do they make a full size pickup with a 2.2L is this an S10/15 truck? Any of htose models like a S10 with the 2.2 in same year or 1997 I think 1998 is the year they went to overhead cam
