1987 Mitsubishi Starion 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 196000 miles
The car will start but has little power when moving and doesnt sound right. It kind of sounds like a go cart when its running now. the oil pressure gauge is also reading zero while it is running.

Hi illini90,
Low power, oil pressure and abnormal noises indicates a possible fault with the engine and lubricating system. Possibly a faulty oil pump.
Did you check the oil level?

the oil level is good its just that there is no oil pressure

The oil pump is driven by the counter balance shaft drive belt and I believe the belt has failed. You would need to remove the timing belt cover to inspect. .
