I have a 1999 eclipse turbo with 82,000 mi. and have just finished replacing the head gasket. While the head was off it was machined and valves redone. After installing head the car started fine but idled for about 3 seconds and then stalled as if no gas or the computer shut it down. It will start every time and idle fine but continues to cut out.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge-if under specs. find the EGR open it up and clean off the carbon, then check the idle air control/speed motor clean this out too-then check the TPS closed and WOT voltages.

Are you positively sure you got the valve and ignition timing correct?

Yes, I took it all back apart after this date and made certain that it was correct. I have a feeling that it has to do with the theft controll????

Its starting and dieing out-if it was the security guard it will prevent it from doing anything. No cranking/ignition/fuel.
