Car problems when rains

I have a 91 Galant LS. 196196 miles. 2.0 SOHC.

When it rains (puddles on ground) my car does not want to shift gears. I get stuck in first gear. (Safety from Mitsubishi?)

I have changed sparks, wires, distrib. Cap, rotor, air fillter. My sparks were all white, no wire. (Changed 4 months ago) I have also did the O2 sensor about a year ago.

There is no check engine light on. I am at wits end on this car. Can it be a sensor? Vaccum hoses? Tranmssion modulator?

Please help!

The PIP circuit has to do with the hall effect sensor in the distributor. Takes the place of a camshaft of crankshaft position sensor.

Error in the PCM's keep alive memory is strange one. Somewhat uncommon to have one of those computers go bad, but it's possilble. Could be you do in fact have a bad computer and it's throwing other codes as well. I'd pull a similar computer out of another vehicle and swap them momentarily, try to start the truck and see if that does it. Let us know.
