1. Make and Model of your car - Mitsubishi Mirage 1996
2. Current odometer reading (approx) - 180,000
3. Stick Shift or Automatic Transmission - Automatic
4. Strange sounds or smells (if any) - none
5. Fluid leaks (if any) - none
6. Past repair history (if applicable) - Not sure, not my car
This car is not getting any spark. With a test light I have found current to both wiring harnesses going to the ditributor but nothing gets to the plug wires. Any ideas? Owner states the car just died while she was driving it. THe computer has been replaced with a good tested unit. THanks in advance for any help with this!

Are you sure, you have a distributor? Sounds like you got the COP ignition system

Looks like a distributor to me. There is a cap with 4 plug wires. I would attach a pic but I'm not at the house right now. I will take a closer look at it tonight. There are 2 harnesses that plug into the base of the distributor and I get a light on one of the terminals of each harness with a test light. Sorry for my ignorance as I do not know much about imports. Not the same as my 1980 Chevy truck. Haha

Do you have an OBD2 code/s meaning the check engine light is it On or has flashed and also a repaire manual for this car.

What you got is a DIS, Here's your probable causes: Cam and Crankshaft sensors, and Power transistor check this out in accordance with the repair manual.

This components and it wiring checks out -get the computer check out.
