1995 - Mistubishi 3000GT SL non turbo.
Problem:
Drove to work, car is driving great. Leave work and come to stop light and car stalls. Have to feather gas pedal to keep it running.
Let the car sit for a day and disconnected the battery terminals. Reattached terminals and start car. Car starts but idle is high and I hear low volume bumping sounds (the idle sounds different than when it was running good). Drive the car around for 10 mins and car stalls and will not restart and idle.
I have replaced the fuel filter, borrowed another ECU, borrowed another MAF, cleaned the throttle body, tested the continuity on the TPS and the IAC.
What could it be? My gut and research tells me it is a faulty IAC. Oh yeah, the computer is not throwing any codes, had that checked too.
