I have an 02 Mitsubishi Diamante VRX. The car will crank, start and go dead all within a matter of seconds. It will do this several times and then will crank but not start. After continuing to start the car for 5 or 10 minutes, it will then start and will stay running until turned off. What could be the problem?

Check the fuel pressure, Could be the fuel pump relay or the pump itself
