Mitsubishi Montero Mechanic Problem

2002 Mitsubishi Montero 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 63940 miles
The timing belt broke and i had it replaced w/ a new water pump and new tensioners and now it is hesitating when you stop or when you yield. I took it to pepboys and they told me that there was no compression from cylinder 3. They check the spark plugs/ wires but they said they were ok. Then we took it to another mechanic but he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it? Would you know what is wrong?
