On my way to work this morning, I heard a "snap" sound. I come to find out that there is an "engine brace" underneath the engine that has rusted through and then snapped. I doubt that "engine brace" is the correct term as I have searched the Auto Zone (and other) parts website and couldn't find it.
I didn't have a digital camera so I got a picture of the top of the same engine, and drew on it. The "brace" sits under the engine and looks to be bolted to the frame near the radiator and again near the catalytic convertor as indicated by the the attached picture.
If I have to take it to the garage, I will, but if I can get this part myself and replace it, I will try that. Unfortunately, I don't even know the name of the part...
