Car idles at 2000 rpms in park
Engine Performance problem
2004 Mitsubishi Lancer 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 30000 miles
When my car is left in Park for like 15 minutes- say at a fast food restaraunt drive thru- it then idles to 2000 RPMS and if I put it in Drive it jumps and takes off. Then if I turn it off it shakes and I have to leave it off for a while or it just starts idleing high.
We actually went to the car wash and you put the car in neutral and when we pulled out the car actually drove it self! My husband took his foot off the gas and my car continued to accelerate to 40 mph before we had to break for a red light.
I read the the codes on a computer code scanner and they were; P2138, P2122, P2127.
Can anyone help me to figure out what's going on, what part (s) I need and the price(s)?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

These are all accelerator pedal position sensor codes...try replacing the sensor...or checking the connector look in the right side of the engine compartment...
